The Whites got over their Oakwell headache with another Yorkshire Derby at Doncaster Rovers. A magical night looked on the cards nine days ago when as early as the third minute when Jonathan Howson fired home to send the 6,000+ Leeds fans into ecstasy.

Though that lead was to be lost shortly before half-time and went downhill from there on; Gary O'Connor, on loan from Birmingham City fired home on his debut. Adam Hammill ran the show but it was Jim O'Brien (49 minutes), Diego Arismendi (65) and a Neill Collins (82) own goal that drifted them into a 4-1 defeat.

There was further action when Hammill (83) made it five to the Tykes before substitute Davide Somma (86) netted a scant consolation for Simon Grayson's side before recording a 0-0 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium.

leigh bromby - could face former club
On the first day of the season they recorded a 2-1 defeat to Derby County; Rob Hulse being a thorn in his former club's side. But since then the Peacocks have yet to lose on home soil with Millwall (3-1) and Swansea City (2-1) unable to break their defence.

There victory over the Lions was described as the best they had played under their current manager and will be looking to recreate that for the visit of all opponents who they come across.

Midfielder Ramon Nunez will be looking to make his debut in a white shirt; the Honduras international was signed from Deportivo Olimpia in August 2010, meanwhile Billy Paynter (shin) and Robert Snodgrass (knee) have recovered from injury and will be looking to feature for the first time this season.

The Elland Road club have three former Blades on their books; Paul Connolly, Neill Collins and Leigh Bromby (all defenders) and they could all feature against Sheffield United this weekend.

Neill Collins played just twice for the Blades whilst on loan from Sunderland during the 2005/06 season; he made his debut in the 2-1 victory at Sheffield Wednesday as the club guided their way to promotion to the Premier League.

Paul Connolly spent time at the Lane on loan from Plymouth Argyle last season; he made his debut in the 3-0 win over Blackpool and went onto make seven appearances for the club - and receiving a red card in the 0-0 draw to Barnsley.

Leigh Bromby has spent two different spells at Bramall Lane during his professional career; he was first signed by Neil Warnock on a free transfer after being released by Sheffield Wednesday in June 2004 - making his debut in a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

He was part of the Blades side which won promotion to the Premier League in May 2006 but failed to hold down a regular first team place and after 119 (6) appearances and six goals he joined Watford in January 2008 in a £600,000 fee.

However he returned initially on loan in January 2009 before signing permanently - though he left at the end of the season after only six games to join current club Leeds.

Expected Eleven: Shane Higgs, Alex Bruce, Neill Collins, Andy Hughes, Aiden White, Gradel, Neil Kilkenny, Jonathan Howson, Bradley Johnson, Davide Somma, Ross McCormmack.
