It's likely that Barnsley fans will have been left fuming after they left Home Park without any points on the board despite leading the game 4-1. Karl Duguid (9 minutes) put the home side in front but the Tykes hit back in abundance with goals from Daniel Bogdanovic (12), Emil Halfredsson (16), Adam Hammill (24) and Ryan Shotton (31) romped the visitors into a 4-1 lead before the break.

However the pitch was in an awful state and Mr. Gavin Ward (referee) decided that the best solution was to abandon this fixture and the game is likely to be played again in full with a 0-0 score line - no doubt with much frustration to the Tykes faithful.

Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock will still be without Jamie Mackie who is unavailable for selection after the forward was suspended after picking up five bookings for the season - he is the clubs' top scorer with four goals. He was suspended for their fixture with Barnsley but as the game wasn't completed the ban will carry

forward.

Possible Pilgrims Line-Up: Romain Larrieu, Krisztian Timar, Gary Sawyer, Alan Gow, Shane Lowry, Karl Duguid, Carl Fletcher, Darcy Blake, Alan Judge, Yoann Folly, Rory Fallon.

Sheffield United looked set to be denied by all three points after Bristol City came from behind to draw 2-2 with moments of the game remaining, but the Blades had a surprise up their sleeves when they went straight up the field and netted a winner.

The Blades went into the break two-nil ahead with a brace from Darius Henderson (30 & 33) in quick-fire goals - his first came under scrutiny after it was judged to be offside before the referee (after consultation with his assistant) decided to reward the goal.

In the second half Luis Carey (53) gave the home side a lifeline and it looked as though the visitors were going to hang onto a 2-1 invaluable lead but three minutes into stoppage time substitute Alvaro Saborio (90) with all three points whittling away from the hands of the Blades, but there was to be a twist in the tail as United went straight up the field and with the aid of Kyel Reid man of the match Darius Henderson (90) completed his hat-trick and gave the visitors a deserved three points.

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell is likely to remain with shot stopper Carl Ikeme who made his debut at Ashton Gate after joining on loan from Premiership outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers; leaving Mark Bunn on the substitute's bench with Ian Bennett (hand) sidelined through injury.

The Blades could also hand a full debut to defender Toni Kallio who joined on loan from Fulham last week but the manager faces a selection problem with a further seven players; Keith Treacy, Mark Bunn (both Blackburn Rovers), James Harper (Reading), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur), Richard Cresswell & Andrew Davies (both Stoke City) and Carl Ikeme (Wolverhampton Wanderers) on loan at Bramall Lane. Under Football League rules only five can be selected for any one fixture, this includes the substitute's bench.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Carl Ikeme, Kyle Walker, Chris Morgan, Andrew Davies, Matthew Kilgallon, Jamie Ward, James Harper, Nick Montgomery, Stephen Quinn, Darius Henderson, Ched Evans.

Blades-Mad Prediction: Plymouth Argyle 0-2 Sheffield United
