Sheffield United enter this evening's fixture without a win in three. Losses to West Brom and Watford, both away from home, has seen an uproar from many Unitedites for their dip in form.

The Blades, once again, have been badly hit with injuries. Mark Bunn was replaced by Ian Bennett in the home clash with Derby County at the weekend, and, most noticeably, Chris Morgan is out with a rib injury.

Mark Yeates, Toni Kallio and Nyron Nosworthy all made their first home starts, with Yeates having a brief appearance in the encounter with Reading two weeks ago. Marcel Seip is still out, left-backs Andy Taylor and Gary Naysmith are both injured, but James Harper could make a return.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Ian Bennett, Nick Montgomery, Nyron Nosworthy, Toni Kallio, Jordan Stewart, Mark Yeates, Stephen Quinn, Lee Williamson, Jamie Ward, Richard Cresswell, Darius Henderson.

As for Preston, they've been on a slip lately. Defeats to Barnsley and Swansea won't have pleased Darren Ferguson. Sir Alex is giving his son a massive helping hand by loaning him Danny Welbeck, Man U's young talented striker. Keith Treacy is currently on loan at Deepdale. The Irishman has a loan stint at Bramall Lane earlier in the season but cut his loan spell short.

Possible PNE Line-Up: Andy Lonergan, Michael Hart, Youl Mawene, Sean St Ledger, Billy Jones, Eddie Nolan, Paul Coutts, Keith Treacy, Chris Brown, Danny Welbeck, Neil Mellor.
