The meeting at the Don Valley Stadium will be the Blades third friendly on English soil having lost its previous two at Mansfield Town (0-1) and Burton Albion (0-1); but two victories in Malta helped guide them to winning the Maltese Cup.

On show at S9 tomorrow afternoon could be three trialists; Shaleum Logan (Manchester City), Kerrea Gilbert (Arsenal) and Gregory Vignal (ex-Liverpool and Birmingham City). The trio all played in the 1-0 defeat at the Pirelli Stadium last Tuesday night and may be included against the Millers if recalled.

However the Blades will be without midfielder Simon Walton (leg) and former Miller Lee Williamson (back), both of whom are out with injury.

The Millers were beaten finalists in the League Two play-off final last May with Dagenham & Redbridge winning 3-2 in the showcase final and will no doubt be looking to improve their position next season.

To date they have managed to keep hold of star striker Adam Le Fondre who scored 30 goals last season for the former Millmoor club.

Against the Blades could feature former players; Jamie Annerson, Ryan Cresswell and Nicky Law.

Law was with the Blades for four years, between October 2005 and July 2009, making his debut as a substitute in a 2-0 League Cup defeat at Reading during the 2005/06 campaign after coming through the youth ranks. He played just 5 (+5) games for United before joining the Millers in 2009.

Annerson and Cresswell both also came through the youth system but failed to make any first team appearances.
