Bristol City travel to Bramall Lane on the back of a 2-0 defeat to the hands of Watford; Heidar Helguson and Martin Taylor on the score sheet - the result put City 13th in the table and was there fifth straight league and cup fixture without a win.

During that baron spell the Robins have drawn twice against Middlesbrough (0-0) and Coventry City, whilst recorded back to back defeats to Cardiff City away (0-1) and a heavy defeat at Ashton Gate (0-6).

The last time they won was on 16 January when they recorded a 4-2 home win over Preston North End - veteran midfielder Evander Sno (formerly with Ajax) was on the score sheet. Even then it was the Reds first win in six games having not won since 8 December.

The Robins will be without highly rated striker Nicky Maynard (thigh) who is expected to be out for a further week; the former Crewe Alexandra forward sustained the injury in their clash with Coventry City a week ago.

They are also without former Barnsley and Rotherham United winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce (calf) and striker Danny Hayes (illness), whilst Jamie McAlister (calf) and Dutch midfielder Evander Sno (back) have also been added to the injury list.

Possible Robins Line-Up: Dean Gerken, Bradley Orr, Jamie McAlister, Liam Fontaine, Louis Carey, Lewin Nyatanga, Lee Johnson, Cole Skuse, David Clarkson, Alvaro Saborio, Patrick Agyemang.
