James Beattie was unmarked at the far post has he headed home a David Cotterill cross, that goal at Plymouth Argyle was enough to secure a one-nil victory and claim three valuable points in the race for survival.

The Blades will travel without midfielder Stephen Quinn who serves the third of a three game suspension following his sending off in the 2-0 home defeat by Charlton Athletic two weeks ago.

Midfield-defender Chris Armstrong is likely to return to the side after he missed the trip to Hone Park after serving a one match suspension.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Derek Geary, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Chris Armstrong, David Cotterill, Michael Tonge, Gary Speed, David Carney, James Beattie, Billy Sharp.

Coventry City have a new lease of life since they installed Chris Coleman as manager little over a month ago and despite a slow start recorded a 1-0 victory over Norwich City (ironically who the Blades battle against next Saturday).

Jay Tabb netted the games only goal when he turned home Michael Doyle's 40 yard pass - any hope of a comeback by the Canaries were dashed when Gary Doherty and Darrel Russell were both handed there marching orders for two book able offences, the pair should sit out there visit to Bramall Lane next Saturday.

The Sky Blues are expected to travel to South Yorkshire without any injury worries and could field a similar side which beat Norwich City last Saturday.

Possible Sky Blues Line-Up: Andy Marshall, Isaac Osbourne, Elliot Ward, Scott Dann, Daniel Fox, Jay Tabb, Kevin Thornton, Michael Doyle, Stephen.Hughes, Michael Mifsud, Leon Best.
