That day Jonathan Stead had handed United a first half lead but Dean Windass levelled from the penalty spot in the second half.

The Blades travelled to Turf Moor last Saturday where they claimed all three points in a valuable play-off push, James Beattie (33) fired a rocket of a free-kick into the left top hand corner before Billy Sharp (53) headed home David Cotterill's cross. Andrew Cole (80) game some hope for the home side but the points went to the Blades.

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell is likely to retain a full strengthen side which won at Turf Moor with the added inclusion of on-loan winger Lee Martin (Manchester United) who may make the bench.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Derek Geary, Chris Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, David Cotterill, Michael Tonge, Gary Speed, Stephen Quinn, James Beattie, Billy Sharp.

Hull City travelled to Oakwell last Tuesday in their re-arranged game with Barnsley and moved into the automatic spot behind West Bromwich Albion with a less than convincing (according to spectators) 3-1 victory against the Tykes.

Striker Henrik Pedersen (hamstring) is a major doubt for the visitors whilst Richard Garcia (shoulder) is unlikely to feature.

Veteran midfielder Nicky Barmby (groin) could return to the side after recovering from his injury but Wayne Brown (calf) is unlikely to feature despite returning to training.

Bramall Lane is likely to see the return of former striker Dean Windass, the forward was initially signed on a months loan from Middlesbrough in November 2002, but after netting three goals in four games (netted on his debut at Bradford City in a 5-0 win) was signed on a free transfer.

Windass scored a further three goals in eighteen outings, helping the Blades reach the play-offs but failed to make an appearance in the final against Wolverhampton Wanderers (lost 0-3) before leaving the club that summer to re-join Bradford City.

Possible Tigers Line-Up: Boaz Myhill, Sam Ricketts, Andy Dawson, Michael Turner, Wayne Brown, Dean Marney, Ian Ashbee, Bryan Hughes, Frazer Campbell, Caleb Forlan, Craig Fagan.
