United go into their game against the Canaries having defeated Coventry City last Tuesday night - Billy Sharp (69) finally netted his first league goal of the campaign for the Blades before Gary Speed (78) saw his spot kick saved until he knocked home the rebound. At the other end Elliot Ward (81) dispatched their spot kick.

Club captain Chris Morgan is likely to make his 175th (150th league game) Sheffield United appearance when he starts against Norwich City.

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell will be without on-loan winger Lee martin (knee) who faces a further month out injured should he require surgery. Meanwhile James Beattie (groin) is rated fifty-fifty to start.

Winger Stephen Quinn returns to the side after serving a three match suspension, the Republic of Ireland U21 international was handed a straight red card in the Blades 2-0 home defeat to Charlton Athletic.
