The Blades claimed a point at Wolverhampton Wanderers in a 0-0 draw on New Years Day before a single David Carney goal was enough to dispose of Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium little less than a week ago.

United ended a run of six-matches unbeaten for Gary Megson's side as Carney slipped home the winner and sent the Trotters crashing out of the Cup.

Sheffield United have recently secured the loan services of Manchester United midfielder Lee Martin for the remainder of the season, however the winger will not play a part against the Hoops due to suspension and could make his debut next week at Hillsborough in the eagerly anticipated Sheffield Derby.

Meanwhile Gary Speed, Michael Tonge and Phil Bardsley will return to the squad who missed the victory in Lancashire for various reasons but James Beattie (knee) and Gary Naysmith (shoulder) are both injured.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Phil Bardsley, Leigh Bromby, Matthew Kilgallon, Derek Geary, Keith Gillespie, Michael Tonge, Nick Montgomery, Chris Armstrong, Rob Hulse, Jonathan Stead.

Queens Park Rangers were also booted high out of the FA Cup but can be handed great credit for only conceding one goal at Chelsea with an own goal from keeper Lee Camp in the 28th minute.

The Londoners are chasing the signature of Argentinean Sebastian Rusculleda from Club Athlético Tigre but look unlikely to purchase the Left-Winger in time for their trip to Bramall Lane.

Whilst Akos Buzsaky (sprained ankle) is likely to play despite picking up a knock at Stamford Bridge with former Sheffield United midfielder Mikele Leigertwood sitting out he last of a four match suspension.

Leigertwood, was signed in July 2006 buy Neil Warnock (from Crystal Palace) and made his debut on the opening day of the Premier League season in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool, he left United in August 2007 to join the Loftus Road club having made 19 appearances (+4) without netting once.

Possible Hoops Line-Up: Lee Camp, Fitz Hall, Damion Stewart, Chris Barker, Gareth Ainsworth, Matthew Connolly, Gavin Mahon, Martin Rowlands, Hogan Ephraim, Dexter Blackstock, Akos Buzsacky.
