That day Gary Cahill headed home in front of the Sky camera's on a very cold Saturday night in what was a smash and grab win against a powerful City side that had United on the back foot for the last ten minutes of the game.

The win handed the Blades a six match unbeaten run until they lost at home to Plymouth Argyle just over a week ago. However they made amends a few days later with a barnstorming victory at Charlton Athletic (won 3-0) before visiting Coventry City.

Chris Armstrong, who netted the Blades third goal at the Valley turned home James Beattie's cross - all be it with the aid of a deflection to send the Red & White Wizards home with all three points as they finally moved above rivals Barnsley in the Championship table.

The Blades however are still awaiting on the recovery of defender Derek Geary who is still suffering from his knee injury whilst Rob Hulse is close to a return.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Phil Bardsley, Gary Cahill, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, Keith Gillespie, Chris Armstrong, Nick Montgomery, David Carney, James Beattie, Danny Webber.

Stoke City on the other hand have claimed a point at Burnley (0-0) before winning at home against a struggling Queens Park Rangers side

There last game against Norwich City - who are the Blades opponents next Saturday opened the scoring via Darren Huckerby as early as the fifth minute but the Potters bounced back and won the game 2-1 with goals from Leon Cort (46) and Ricahrd Cresswell (89).

The Potters could travel to Bramall Lane without full-back Stephen Wright after he picked up a groin injury recently. Whilst former Leeds United midfielder Dominic Matteo is expected to play despite requiring surgery on an ankle injury.

Potters boss Tony Pulis could line up with former Blades forward Vincent Pericard whom spent time at Sheffield United on loan.

Pericard; who will play with a tag on his leg after being released early from his prison sentence was a two month loan spell from Portsmouth at United during the 2005-06 promotion season. The striker played three (+8) games whilst he netted twice in 4-0 victories against Millwall and Luton Town.
