Naysmith compares derbies

Naysmith featured in one Sheffield derby last season and fully knows what to expect from the Hillsborough contingent.

He said: "The Sheffield derby is more like the Hearts-Hibs Derby because there's a bit of hatred between the fans. In the Merseyside derby you would see fans mixing, you certainly couldn't do that in the other two derbies.

"The Sheffield derby certainly compares more to the Hearts-Hibs derby than the Merseyside derby, mainly because of the way the fans feel about each other.

"When I played for Everton you would pull up in the coach at Anfield and see the mum and son with the Liverpool strip and the dad and daughter in the Everton strip. So that was a different type of derby to others. I haven't seen that during my time in Sheffield or Scotland.

"It will be like any other local derby, a full blooded game with both teams going for it from the off. There will be a lot of passion on display and the tackles will be flying in.

"The crowd play their part and we know what it would mean to them to have the bragging rights at work on Monday morning."
