Michael Oliver will oversee this weekend's clash between Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday...

The 26-year-old will officiate his first Sheffield derby on Sunday, when the eyes of the city are fully focussed on Bramall Lane.

Oliver is one of 17 Select Group Referees who are usually handed games in the Premier League, but the Northumberland-born official has come in for some criticism over the past couple of months after a few incorrect decisions on a major scale.

His most recent blooper coming at QPR when Armand Traore was penalised for a 'tug' on Gabby Agbonlahor's shirt in their match against Aston Villa in the Premier League last month - a decision which looked very harsh.

Simon Long and Simon Barrow are Oliver's assistant referees, whilst Neil Swarbrick is the fourth official.
