The Blades last game was at Bramall Lane last Saturday where they faced Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup 3rd Round. United won a convincing 4-0 with Shaun Murphy, Jon-Paul McGovern and a Steve Kabba brace giving the Blades the win.

Still injured is striker Carl Asaba while Steve Kabba is cup-tied, it could be that Wayne Allison will partner Paul Peschisolido unless Neil Warnock can find a striker before the game on Wednesday night.

However United will make a very warm Welcome to their new boy at Bramall Lane as Wayne Quinn makes is return to Bramall Lane at the left-back after joining on a months loan from Newcastle United.

Possible Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Phil Jagielka, Shaun Murphy, Robert Page, Wayne Quinn, Peter Ndlovu, Stuart McCall, Michael Brown, Michael Tonge, Paul Peschisolido, Wayne Allison.

Liverpool where also in the FA Cup, they played at Maine Road against Manchester City where the Reds won 1-0 with a Danny

Murphy penalty.

Reds strikers Michael Owen and Emile Heskey where both doubts for the trip to Manchester City and could once again be doubtful for the game at Bramall Lane.

Sadly we do not have a possible starting 11 of the Liverpool squad, but we can give you a list of possible players who could start.

Liverpool (from): Kirkland, Carragher, Henchoz, Hyypia, Traore, Murphy, Diao, Gerrard, Owen, Smicer, Riise, Mellor, Heskey, Diouf, Dudek, Baros, Cheyrou.

Prediction: This is going to be very tough and possible the biggest game of the season. I believe that United can manage a 1-0 victory with would do nicely to take to Anfield.
