Crystal Palace vs Sheffield United

Match referee: P Walton

Linesmen: G Stott and P Thompson

Fourth Official: A Penn

Walton's last match involving the Blades was in the FA Cup at Hull City last season. A controversial Kyle Naughton own goal was given against United and, in the end, ended their hopes of reaching the next round. Walton, though, apologised to Kevin Blackwell the next day about the goal which wasn't at the KC Stadium. Meanwhile, Peter was appointed to the National Referees list in 1998 and to the Select Group Referees list in 2003.

Walton refereed the Premier League fixture between Stoke City and Arsenal last Saturday, a game which saw the Gunners run out 1:3 victors, and also saw Aaron Ramsey suffer an horrific injury.
