Hall officiated the Blades' 1:1 home draw with Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup. Andy started refereeing in 1987 when he was 18 years of age, encouraged by his father who had been a Football League Linesman. He soon progressed through to CL status and reached the National List of assistant Referees in 1993, and the Referees’ list in 1997. Major appointments include 4th Official on the 2006 Carling Cup Final, and referee for two FL Play Off Semi Finals in 2003 and 2006.
