Singh postponed the original tie between the Posh and the Blades on the 20th February because of a frozen pitch. He started refereeing in Wolverhampton in 1985 and he reached Class One status in 1990. He progressed through the Suburban and Southern Leagues to reach the National List of assistant referees in 2000 and the National List of Referees in 2004.
Blades Mad would also like to point out that last week we indicated that P Walton was Saturday's referee for our game with Crystal Palace. It was in fact A Penn who took charge, and the indication of Walton being the referee was fault of the Football League and not Blades Mad.
