United travelled to the KC this season on the back of an exhilarating 3:3 draw with Burnley. It was a game of few chances, and a solo effort by Mark Yeates was the only goal of the game in a 0:1 victory for the Blades.
It was the Tigers' first defeat on their own patch of the season, and it was the first goal they had conceded at the KC all season too.
This result allows United to complete their first possible double of the season on Sunday when Nigel Pearson's army arrive searching for their first victory at the Lane since 1971.
