Sheffield United goalkeeper Simon Moore checks on Jamal Blackman who taken off during the game during the Sky Bet Championship match at Loftus Road, London

A 3rd minute goal from Idrissa Sylla was enough to ensure Queens Park Rangers recorded a 1-0 victory and knock the Blades off top spot. Sylla had capitalised on an error from Blackman as he despatched into an empty net. The keeper had been clattered in the process of making a catch and as a result of his injuries had to be replaced.

The result sent United into third but could reclaim poll position ahead of another International break if Wolves fail to beat Fulham tonight and Cardiff also in their 12:00 match at Bristol City tomorrow.

Blades boss Chris Wilder will be boosted by the return of midfielder John Fleck, who was missing in action, having served a one-match suspension having picked up his fifth booking of the season in the victory at Leeds.

However the Sheffield-born gaffer will have to make changes, most notably in goal with Simon Moore likely to replace Jamal Blackman. It will be Moore's first start to the season since he was injured himself in the pre-season friendly at Rotherham United. The Blades are still without Kieron Freeman and Ched Evans. Defender Freeman is recovering from a dislocated kneecap and striker Evans is in rehab following ankle surgery.

Tigers boss Leonid Slutsky is feeling the strain of not so handsome results since his Hull side were relegated from the Premier League last summer. They lost 3-1 at home to Middlesbrough on Tuesday night and lay 18th in the Championship table.

Slutsky said; "It's really very difficult to understand about the long-term future because now I must think about the next match, sending off of Hector... a lot of difficult situations. I think 15 matches is normal time for a decision and if the owner decides about me I will agree, no problem. The biggest pressure is myself. I don't need extra pressure because I always evaluate every situation and I don't satisfy my level now."

Hull will be without defender Michael Hector ahead of their trip to Bramall Lane. The Jamaican International was dismissed in the defeat at the KCOM in midweek and will sit out a three match suspension.

The Humberside side are expected to be once again without midfielder Jon Toral after he was substituted in the defeat against Nottingham Forest last Saturday due to a hamstring injury - after he had only just stepped off the bench himself.

They will be without Stephen Kingsley (groin) through injury, while Evandro (quad muscle), Will Keane (knee) and Abel Hernandez (Achilles) are long-term absentees.
