The Blades, of course, entertain Coventry City, Tuesday evening, at the Ricoh Arena, but Unitedites are already having one eye on the Steel City Derby on Friday night. The Welshman, though, refuses to look ahead to that game and is keeping his full attentions on tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

Cotterill, who hasn't been allocated a place in the starting 11 so far this season, does admit that the red half of Sheffield do owe their arch rivals one. He said: "We're definitely ready for both games. It was a good win the other day, and we haven't lost all season so hopefully we can keep that going. Lets hope we can get the right results in these forthcoming two games.

"Friday night is going to special, but we're only taking each game as it comes. Tuesday's game is the most important one at the moment. When we've got that result, we'll then think about Friday's game.

"We definitely owe Sheffield Wednesday one and hopefully we'll give it to them on Friday."
