He has been in charge of a few matches for United, his first a 3-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle and more recently the 3-2 defeat at Scunthorpe United were he sent off defender Shane Lowry.
Last Tuesday he was named as match official at Pride Park as Derby County beat Leeds United 2-1 – Jamie Ward netted for the Rams.
