The biggest game so far this season

It really is do or die time for the Blades. These next two fixtures could ultimately decide which league we will play our football in next season.

Our game against Crystal Palace on Saturday is, of no doubt, the most pivotal match of the season, and a loss for the Blades could see us languish as much as five points away from safety.

The Eagles have been quite solid at home lately, which is very surprising considering their league position.  The Londoners haven't conceded in their last SEVEN home games, which obviously doesn't bode well for United, the joint lowest scorers in the league.

We must, however, remain positive going into this crucial week. Our three games starting this Saturday against Palace, Tuesday at Scunthorpe and Derby at home could make or break our season.

Looking optimistically, we enter this weekend's game unbeaten in two, which is an achievement in some aspect, which tells a story!

For me, a minimum of four points is acceptable against Crystal Palace and Scunthorpe. Drawing them both would be no good for any of the teams really, and losses in both of them for Micky Adams' men would, in my opinion, send us down.

I'll be at Crystal Palace this weekend, but a message to all Blades fans heading to Selhurst Park on Saturday. Let's get behind the lads right from the off, show them that we're right behind them and we're all in this together!

We can pull through this!

Come on Blades!
