The Blades boss yesterday, announced that Killa is unlikely to participate in tonight's clash, and has failed to bring in centre-back cover as a result. Zurab Khizanishvili's move to Bramall Lane fell through while Danny Shittu rejected the S2 side's offer.
Kyle Walker will more than likely play in the vacant centre-back role alongside the skipper, Chris Morgan. Sheffield born Ryan France could also play against the side he spent much of pre-season with.
The Owls also have their defensive woes. Centre-backs Mark Beevers and Richard Wood will probably not figure. The latter had a helping hand in the Blades pulling back two goals against Wednesday two seasons ago, the score finished 2:2 when Wood put the ball into his own net.
Richard Hinds is likely to step in and pair with Darren Purse who also incidentally scored an own goal on Tuesday too.
