Up For The Cup?

The Blades last game was not a good one as they went down 3-2 against Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Pablo Counago was sent off in the first half before Peter Ndlovu and Dean Windass fired United into a 2 goal lead. However Town staged a second half come back, the two Darren's, Bent and Ambrose struck to pull lit back to 2-2 before Bent scored the winner.

Blades defender Wayne Quinn injured his back in last weeks clash at Ipswich and could miss the Walsall game, while Dean Windass cup-tied and opens the door for Wayne Allison, Paul Peschisolido or Tommy Mooney to start with Steve Kabba.

Possible Starting Lineup: Paddy Kenny, Robert Kozluk, Phil Jagielka, Robert Page, Wayne Quinn, Peter Ndlovu, Stuart McCall, Michael Brown, Michael Tonge, Tommy Mooney, Steve Kabba.

The Saddlers last game was too not a happy one as they lost 4-1 at home to Leicester City. Paul Dikov and James Scowcroft fired home before half-time, Elliot hit in a 3rd before Scowcroft got his second,

however with three minutes left Martin O'Conner scored a consolation for the Bescot boys.

Walsall will have defender Danny Hay back, the former Leeds United player was suspended after picking up five yellow cards. They are though waiting in the fitness of Ian Roper (groin strain) and he could miss the game. They will defiantly be without Neil Emblem after he returned from a loan spell back to Norwich City.

Recently, Walsall have signed ex-Manchester United youngster Kris Taylor and its a possibility that he could start and they will be without Jean-Philippe Javary who was sent back to Sheffield United after a very unsuccessful loan spell with the Saddlers.

Possible Starting Lineup: Jimmy Walker, Darren Bazeley, Matty Carbon, Tony Barras, Zigor Aranalde, Darren Wrack, Martin O'Connor, Danny Sonner, Fitzroy Simpson, Jorge Leitao, Junior.
