Yeovil Town vs. Sheffield United

Sheffield United will take a slender 1-0 lead to Huish Park on Monday after youngster Callum McFadzean netted the decisive goal early in the second half to secure the win. The score line didn’t picture the entire game as the Glovers saw a goal by James Hayter ruled out for offside whilst both sides had shouts for a penalty turned down.

In the end it was a strike from Academy starlet McFadzean who scored the decisive goal on the night. He had replaced Barry Robson through injury and made an immediate impact. Jamie Murphy worked well down the left flank and his low cross was met by the youngster whose quick hit deflected off Burn and flew beyond the Town keeper.

United now must go to Yeovil and make sure that they don’t concede, a draw or a positive result will mean another trip to Wembley for the Blades.

The Blades are without striker Shaun Miller (cruciate knee ligament); meanwhile keeper Mark Howard (thigh) and defender Lescinel Jean-Francois (knee) have returned to training but are unlikely to see first team action soon. He is also without Diego DeGirolamo (knee) through injury.

On-loan Southampton forward Jonathan Forte is also considered doubtful, an unused substitute against Preston is suffering with a hamstring problem and has only recently returned to training. Meanwhile defender Danny Higginbotham (hamstring) returns to the side after recovering from injury, but Barry Robson (hip) is unlikely to be fit.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson welcomed back defensive duo Jamie McAllister (ankle), Dan Burn (ankle) and Byron Webster (hamstring) for the away tie at Bramall Lane two days ago when the trio were all expected to be absent.

They were also without duo Matt Dolan (knee) and Nathan Ralph (also knee) but the pair could return to action to face the Blades tomorrow, Reuben Reid is in contention after returning from his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle.

Blades-Mad Prediction: Yeovil Town 1-1 Sheffield United
