The Blades will look to continue their fine form in the reserves and a win would add pressure on league leaders Rotherham United who claimed a 5-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

United beat the Tykes earlier in the season; Jordan Slew and Joe Ironside netting in a 2-0 win at the Lane.

Slew is likely to start against the Tykes, partnering on loan Chelsea striker Danny Philliskirk in what may be a mix bag of professional and youth players; Jean Calve, Elian Parrino, Mark Yeates, Robert Kozluk, David McAllister and Seamus Conneely are likely to feature.

Striker Darius Henderson (hamstring) could return to action within the next few weeks and may feature in forthcoming reserve team fixtures as part of his recovery which has seen him sit out the entire season to date.

This game is set to be played at Oakwell Stadium and will kick-off at the unusual time of 2:00pm.

Expected Eleven: Long, Calvé, Parrino, Lokberg, Maguire, Yeates, James, McAllister, Tonne, Philliskirk, Slew.
