The Blades hope to improve on their last outing in the Totesport.com Central League - a 2-1 defeat at Port Vale a fortnight ago.

Reserve team boss Mark Smith is likely to field a side consisting of youth and experience; Richard Wright (who has yet to start in the first team) could feature in goal; whilst Elian Parrino and Andy Taylor could possibly be given a run out in defence.

It is however likely that promising striker Jordan Slew will be included to face the Bantams; he has netted two hat-tricks for the under-18 side this season and featured twice as a substitute in senior fixtures.

Left Full-Back Phil Roe won't however feature; the young defender is currently on loan at Retford United gaining much needed experience.

Bradford City opted to move away from their regular spot at the Coral Windows Stadium and took the reserves to Eccleshill United.

In their last fixture they recorded a 1-1 draw with Barnsley Reserves; scored by former Blade Jake Speight. He featured in the youth set up at the Lane but never managed to make an professional first team appearance.

The Bantams are managed by Junior Lewis, who as a professional featured for Leicester City, Swindon Town, Hull City and Milton Keynes Dons.

The game takes place tomorrow night at 7:00pm; it is understood that tickets are £2.00 adults and £1.00 concessions.
