Kyle Walker went to centre-back and Ryan France filled the right-back position. The United rearguard conceded a 12th minute half-volley from Best when he got the better of Walker. Jamie Ward then pulled off something quite special, a 20-yard cracker into Westwood's top-corner which was simply unstoppable. City added another goal just after half-time when Nick Montgomery handed them a second - Clinton Morrison tucked away. Craine nodded in a Sky Blues third, and James Harper's close-range consolation gave Unitedites hope. Ched Evans' powerful strike agonisingly skimmed the crossbar.
